DESCRIPTION:Digging deep for schistosomiasis-free communities \nHelp Bring Clean Water to Rural Communities in Adansi South District and Fight Schistosomiasis \nThe Adansi South District Assembly\, in partnership with Patients Friend Foundation\, is launching the “Digging deep for schistosomiasis-free communities Project to provide clean water access to the Dwendama community. \nObjectives: \n•⁠ ⁠Provide clean water for drinking\, sanitation\, and hygiene \n•⁠ ⁠Improve health and wellbeing for hundreds of people \n•⁠ ⁠Support community development and economic growth \n•⁠ ⁠Reduce the prevalence of schistosomiasis and other waterborne diseases \nSchistosomiasis is a major public health concern in our district\, causing: \n•⁠ ⁠Abdominal pain and diarrhea \n•⁠ ⁠Fatigue and weakness \n•⁠ ⁠Stunted growth and development in children \nYour Support Will: \n•⁠ ⁠Provide clean water\, reducing the risk of schistosomiasis transmission \n•⁠ ⁠Fund water testing and treatment equipment \n•⁠ ⁠Support community engagement and education on hygiene and sanitation practices \nDonation Levels: \n•⁠ ⁠$10: Supports borehole construction materials \n•⁠ ⁠$20: Funds water testing and treatment equipment \n•⁠ ⁠$50: Contributes to community engagement and education \nEvery Donation Counts: \nHelp us bring clean water to those who need it most and fight schistosomiasis.
