TB GC7 Project: Finding the TB missing cases
Following the successful launch of the TB GC7 project, our next step is to conduct community outreach and screening activities in the Adansi South district.
Objectives:
1. Conduct TB screenings for at least 1,000 individuals in the community
2. Identify and refer suspected TB cases for further diagnosis and treatment
3. Provide health education and awareness sessions to community members
4. Engage with community leaders and stakeholders to ensure project sustainability
Activities:
1. Community mobilization and sensitization
2. TB screening and testing
3. Health education and awareness sessions
4. Data collection and analysis
5. Referral of suspected TB cases for further diagnosis and treatment
Target Groups:
1. High-risk populations (e.g., miners, prisoners, healthcare workers)
2. Community members with symptoms suggestive of TB
3. Contacts of confirmed TB cases

By taking this next step, the PFF aims to make progress towards its goal of detecting and treating TB cases in the Adansi South district, ultimately contributing to the global effort to end TB.
